Continuous lifeline and equipment

Before you climb the tree-climbing courses at Expéria Park Lorient, one of our operators will fit you out with your safety equipment: harness, lanyard, pulley and hook.

The continuous lifeline system ensures that you never fall off at height. Once you've started the course, it's impossible to detach yourself. Only our operators can intervene on the hook if necessary.

Coudou Pro's continuous lifeline safety system is category E, the highest safety system in adventure parks.

Only the Pitchoun' (2 - 5 years) are equipped with classic double karabiners to develop their motor skills, teach them the essentials of safety and receive help from their parents or carers.

Tree climbing access conditions

For your own safety and that of other visitors, please follow the safety instructions.

Closed shoes must be worn. Sandals, flip-flops and any other "open" shoes are forbidden for your safety.

Because of the risk of serious injury, scarves, shoulder bags or any other object around the neck are prohibited. Jewellery is strongly discouraged. Long hair must be tied back.

To prevent objects from falling onto the ground, telephones, keys, wallets or any other objects that could fall onto the ground are prohibited or must be secured in a bag or closed pocket. On-board cameras are permitted provided they are securely attached. Lockers are available at reception, subject to availability.

For their own safety, pregnant women and anyone weighing more than 110kg should not take part in the adventure.

Briefing and test run

Once you've got your climbing safety equipment, all you have to do is follow the explanations of the equipment and safety instructions.

Expéria Park Lorient is equipped with a video briefing system, a fun system that makes it easier to understand the safety rules before entering the test course.

Once the safety instructions have been explained, all riders must complete a test course. The test course is compulsory for everyone. Supervised by our operators, it allows us to check that you have fully understood the safety rules, so that we can leave you free to explore the courses on your own.

Monitoring our operators

Our operators will be on hand throughout your adventure at Expéria Park Lorient. They'll be in charge of fitting you out, showing you the equipment, monitoring your understanding of the test courses, advising you and intervening at height.

Our operators have all undergone training and qualified with the Certificat de Qualification Professionnel d'Opérateurs de Parcours Acrobatiques en Hauteur (CQP OPAH), as well as first aid training.

If necessary, they can intervene at height on the accrobranches courses to help you get over a difficult section or get you off the course.
