The activity is open to children aged 2 and over, and adventurous children can explore the Pitchoun’ area.

Our packages include 3 hours of activities at height + access to the 8-metre high climbing wall!

Tree climbing from age 2

The activity is accessible from the age of 2, and adventurers can set off to discover our area dedicated to children aged 2 to 5.

Pitchoun' can also experience the joys of accrobranche in Bénodet! Evolving at their own pace, on courses adapted to their age and at their parents' height: there's nothing better for developing their motor skills and independence.

As apprentice acrobats, come and discover the Pitchoun' courses, accessible from the age of 2.

Pitchoun' (2 - 5 years)

Pitchoun' can also experience the joys of accrobranche! Moving at their own pace, on courses adapted to their age and the height of the parents: What better way to develop their motor skills and independence.

As apprentice acrobats, come and discover the Pitchoun' courses, accessible from the age of 2!

Children (6 - 7 years)

The Green courses have been designed for a gentle introduction to accrobranche. Spider box, net, climbing wall and many other fun workshops will help you get to grips with the activity without getting too high. Come and test your adventurous spirit on courses accessible to everyone aged 6 and over, from novices to the most experienced!

Junior (8 - 9 years)

A crescendo of climbing! The Blue courses, accessible from the age of 8, offer even more thrills. A zip line, a variety of games with a touch of difficulty, all for fun and a great time for all the family!

Teenagers (10 - 11 years)

For more adventurous climbers, the Red routes are ideal. Accessible to climbers aged 10 and over, you'll find yourself on slightly more complex courses as you get closer to the treetops. The programme includes a number of zip-lines and increasingly difficult workshops.

Adults (12 years and +)

In the mood for adrenalin? Test yourself on our most extreme courses. Get even higher on the Black courses, which are up to 15 metres high, and overcome slacklines, Tarzan jumps and many other obstacles in your path. Physical strength, balance and a mind of steel will be your best allies if you want to succeed. Accessible from the age of 12, will you be ready to take them on?

Climbing wall from 6 years

Explore the summits at the heart of our vertiginous climbing wall, which rises to a height of 8 metres! This artificial rock is an invitation to push your own limits, whether you're a beginner or a seasoned climber.

Challenging heights
Our 3 separate routes offer a personalised challenge on every ascent. From the age of 6, younger climbers can also discover the thrill of verticality. Every hold, every move, becomes an opportunity to overcome vertigo, perfect balance and master the technicalities of climbing.

Climbing in safety!
Our automatic belay system lets you climb with confidence. You're free to concentrate on climbing, because the mechanism ensures a safe and controlled automatic descent.

Tree climbing access conditions

For your own safety and that of other visitors, please follow the safety instructions.

Closed shoes must be worn. Sandals, flip-flops and any other "open" shoes are forbidden for your safety.

Because of the risk of serious injury, scarves, shoulder bags or any other object around the neck are prohibited. Jewellery is strongly discouraged. Long hair must be tied back.

To prevent objects from falling onto the ground, telephones, keys, wallets or any other objects that could fall onto the ground are prohibited or must be secured in a bag or closed pocket. On-board cameras are permitted provided they are securely attached. Lockers are available at reception, subject to availability.

For their own safety, pregnant women and anyone weighing more than 110kg should not take part in the adventure.

Access to Expéria Park is free and people staying on the ground and not practicing activities can take advantage of the free services of our parks.

For reasons of safety and comfort, access to the high course is prohibited for people weighing more than 110 kg and/or with a waist circumference greater than 120 cm.

Yes, we welcome people with disabilities: mental, visual, hearing and motor. Tree climbing can be done under certain conditions.

The person must be able to do the activity independently because the operators are present for all the participants.

If it is impossible to do the activity, we will reimburse your entry upon leaving the test courses.

We advise you to prepare your visit in advance so that our team can advise you on periods of low traffic.

No, access to the height courses is done independently. Our team of professionals is here to:

  • Equip yourself with safety equipment checked daily
  • Introduce you to the activity on a test route
  • Monitoring you as you progress

Of course, in the event of a problem, our instructors will not fail to advise you or intervene if necessary.

We strongly recommend that a child be accompanied by an adult in the trees to help them in case of difficulty. For this, we offer a special companion rate on your child’s rate. However, your child can climb alone if they complete the test route.

Of course. If you like a course, you can repeat it as many times as you want.

There are no escapes on the courses. In case of difficulties, our operators are there to help you and advise you on how to continue the activity or take you off the course if necessary.

In case of difficulties, our operators are there to help and advise you. However, it is possible to retrace your steps if and only if you are close to the start of your route AND there is no one behind you. Otherwise, an operator will come and take you off the course.

Do I have to repeat the briefing each time I come if I come regularly?2024-01-17T16:17:39+01:00

For safety reasons, test routes are mandatory each time you come to check that all safety rules are understood and to check your ability to practice the activity. In the event of a frequent visit, viewing the video briefing is not obligatory and you can go directly to the test routes under the supervision of one of our operators. You may be asked to participate in the video briefing again if the operator deems it necessary.

No, only equipment loaned by the park is authorized.

Gloves are not required for tree climbing. However, we recommend them for your comfort. You can come with your pair of gloves if you have them or buy them directly at the park reception.

If your camera attaches correctly, you can take it with you! Objects that can fall from height are strictly prohibited.

No, only the backpack is allowed in the trees. However, you can leave your shoulder bag in one of our lockers.

Admission gives access to 3 hours of activity on the tree climbing courses corresponding to your age category. At Expéria Park Bénodet, you also have access to the climbing wall (from age 6 years only).

My child often goes tree climbing. Can he or she be upgraded?2024-01-17T13:59:17+01:00

If your child is not old enough to progress to the next category, but has the required height and physical condition, he or she may progress to the next category under certain conditions:

  • They must be fairly athletic
  • They must meet the minimum height requirements
  • They must be accompanied by an adult
  • They must be seen by one of our operators on a course.
  • A parental waiver must be signed at reception.

A supplement will have to be paid to access the higher category.

Expéria Park does not provide helmets for tree climbing. In fact, it is not necessary to wear a helmet when tree climbing.
